Futures contracts for U.S. stock indices - for June delivery - declined during pre-open trading on Friday, as markets awaited the release of the core personal consumption expenditure data for the U.S. for February, amid expectations that the index would record an increase of 2.5%.
Before the opening, the following levels were recorded for U.S. stock index futures:
- Futures for the Dow Jones Industrial Average Dow Jones stood at approximately 42,544.00 points, which is an increase of about 0.14%.
- Futures for the Nasdaq Nasdaq 100 were trading near the level of 19,918.75 points, showing a decline of about 0.23%.
- Futures for the S&P 500 S&P 500 recorded a decrease of about 0.19%, reaching 5,728.50 points.
