The Saudi stock market index closed today with a rise, recording gains of 50.89 points to reach 11,760.32 points, with total trading valued at 5.8 billion riyals, reflecting an improvement in market performance and continued positive momentum.

According to the daily economic bulletin issued by the Saudi Press Agency, the trading volume in the Saudi stock market totaled 229 million shares, with 123 companies closing higher in value, while 109 companies recorded a decline in their performance.

Top Gaining and Losing Stocks in the Saudi Market

Petro Rabigh, Rital, Addis, Medgulf Insurance, and Al-Babtain topped the list of the most gaining stocks during the session, while Sanaa Holding, Gulf General, Sico Saudi Reit, Intaj, and Sadafco were among the top losing stocks, with changes ranging from a rise of 9.87% to a decline of 6.91%.

Most Active Stocks by Volume and Value

Saudi Aramco, Americana, Al-Baha, Al-Ahli, and Chemicals recorded the highest trading volume in terms of quantity, while Saudi Aramco, Al-Rajhi, Al-Ahli, Al-Marai, and STC were the most active in terms of trading value.

The Parallel Market Index "NOMU" Declines by Over 160 Points

On the other hand, the parallel stock market index (NOMU) closed down by about 162.11 points to reach 30,521.53 points, with total trading valued at 23 million riyals, and a trading volume of 1.9 million shares.

Investors are closely watching the performance of the Saudi market in the coming sessions amid monitoring of economic developments and factors influencing trading activity, especially with the continued noticeable activity of major company stocks, which enhances the likelihood of sustained positive momentum in the market.
