The main Saudi stock index finished trading on Wednesday with a decrease of 82.97 points, closing at 11,709.43 points, affected by selling pressures across various sectors. Trading volume reached 4.5 billion riyals, with 201 million shares exchanged, in a session that saw noticeable fluctuations between gains and losses.

Stock Performance: Limited Gains and Broad Declines

The session saw mixed stock performance, with 66 companies recording an increase in their market value, while 174 companies closed lower. Among the top gainers were United International Holding, Al-Bahah, Worsan, Qassim Cement, and Saudi Cables, with gains ranging from 3.49% to 10%. On the other hand, Medgulf Insurance, Asiac, Draya, Bawan, and Marafiq topped the list of losing companies after experiencing significant declines.

Most Traded Stocks by Volume and Value

Some companies maintained a marked activity during the session, with Americana, Saudi Aramco, Al-Bahah, Batik, and Electrical Industries leading the list of most traded stocks by volume. Meanwhile, Saudi Aramco, Al-Rajhi, Intaj, Al-Ahli, and STC were the most active in terms of value, reflecting continued investor interest in these leading companies.

Parallel Market "NOMU" Experiences Slight Decline

The NOMU – parallel market index finished its transactions with a decline, losing 35.29 points, closing at 30,683.64 points. The trading value in the parallel market reached 30 million riyals, with more than two million shares traded, in a session that lacked the positive momentum seen in the main market.
