The Moscow Exchange suspends trading for today and explains the reason.

The Moscow Exchange (MOEX) announced the suspension of trading during the evening session on Thursday at 8:40 PM local time, explaining that the reason for this decision was the discovery of issues in data transmission.

In an official statement released this evening, the Moscow Exchange confirmed that this decision was made after consultation with market participants.

This step came following a discussion between U.S. President Donald Trump and his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin in a phone call earlier on Thursday about prospects for peace and ending the war in Ukraine.
