The performance of U.S. stock indices varied, with Nasdaq being the biggest winner supported by Palantir's shares.

U.S. stock indices opened the session on Tuesday in the green zone, with a clear outperformance from the technology-heavy Nasdaq index, which received significant support from the sharp rise in shares of the American technology company Palantir Technologies, which surged more than 25% following the announcement of the company’s fourth-quarter 2024 earnings results.
