OPEC+ reveals new plans to offset the production surplus.. and Kazakhstan is under scrutiny!

The OPEC+ alliance has revealed new plans to compensate for excess oil production, confirming that seven countries, including Russia, Iraq, and Kazakhstan, will implement compensatory mechanisms aimed at rebalancing global oil markets.
The alliance explained that the compensation volume will range between 189,000 and 435,000 barrels per day, with these plans expected to continue until June 2026. This reflects the alliance's efforts to regulate supplies and maintain price stability amid the economic and geopolitical challenges facing the market.
In this context, Kazakhstan stands out as a notable case, especially after the government dismissed the Minister of Energy due to the country exceeding its previously set production quotas. This step raised questions about the state's ability to adhere to the new plans and the impact on its alignment with future OPEC+ decisions.
These moves come at a time when the energy sector is experiencing sharp fluctuations, with expectations that these measures will lead to a gradual balance in oil supply over the coming months, which will reflect in price movements in global markets.
